We stayed at River Bay for one week. Monday -Thursday is pretty quiet, but the weekends were filled with seasonal campers coming in to party all weekend. Noisy, drunks, people coming and going at all hours. We rode the Princess Kay on Saturday night, mistake. All the locals piled on and everyone was there to party hard. Don't take your kids on this! We won't be back.
The only reason I give this place 2 star is because they had availability at last minute notice. If you want noisy, rowdy, very loud music and loud people every night this is you place. But if you're looking for real camping that you can actually enjoy outdoor peaceful night then stay away from this place. If only I can record the noise at this place you'd feel like you're in a club or a loud bar with music blasting and drunk people yelling at 2am!!!
What great place and very friendly. Also love how dog friendly they are. Can't wait to come back.
We had a horrible experience here. Other large groups of campers chose to play Mexican/Spanish music from 7am to midnight or later all day, everyday. Loud speakers that could be heard all over the campground. In addition, kids were using golf carts to zoom around at a high rate of speed incessantly honking the horn. This was in addition to the fireworks set off all weekend. When I complained at the office the woman shrugged her shoulders and said they didn't bother saying anything since it didn't do any good. Really?!!. I would never reserve here again and would not recommend to anyone.
