Of course he didn't have to tell me it was a bad wire, I would have never known. Rodwell Repair is an Honest and trustworthy mechanic. If I ever break down in that area again, he will be the first and only mechanic I call.
We met at the car and he was able to help me to get it to his shop. Once we arrived at his shop he was able to look at it properly. He discovered that there was a bad wire leading to the alternator, but the alternator itself was in good condition. He repaired the wire and we were on our way. He solved our problem with a simple relatively cheap repair when compared to the cost of a new alternator.
I started calling shops around 8am Sat. morning. Most we not open, or refused to look at the car on Saturday. I kept going down the list and finally called Rodwell. He answered, and sound like he had a full day too, but understood our situation and was willing to meet me at the car and take a look.

First the alternator light/ battery light came on, then after a short stop the battery died and the car would not start. The battery is less than 8 months old. A jump start got us going again, but shortly the car died again in Idle.
